Welcome!
My name is Ginny Gutman and I’m a licensed psychotherapist. From early on I found that I was deeply empathetic to those around me. I knew that I should cultivate this personality trait when my peers were always coming to me for guidance. Even then, I knew I found helping others figure out navigation through life struggles was my passion. It certainly helps that I have had my own share of life transitions, stressors and relationship obstacles to deal with.
Something you should know is that I am strengths-based. Meaning I view all my clients as people with strengths and resiliency no matter what their circumstance, and I aim to help them use that to be empowered. Also, I’ve specifically sought out working with a variety of people from different cultural backgrounds throughout my career in interest of true therapeutic competency.

On a personal note...
When I'm not helping people get to a better place in life (my favorite!) I like going to new places/trying new things, hiking, and being outside in general.
But I also really enjoy a good lazy weekend afternoon watching six episodes of a TV show.
Balance is key!
